SEA, LAND, SKY - BARB O’NEIL

Barb and her family homestead on a big sky piece of land in New Ross. The artist’s oil painted skies are full of movement and power, whether over land or sea. Wind scuttled clouds, changing light shifts ocean colours below, and shadows deepen across the land. Barb’s paintings are innately Nova Scotian.

ABSTRACT CONNECTIONS - PAULETTE MELANSON

Pre-determined themes or titles limit Paulette’s creative relationship with her abstract work. The artist unconsciously experiments with the medium for extended periods of time until themes emerge. Paulette’s current direction is to create works that impart messages of joy, optimism and hope during this time of climate change and war.
